Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

That is a great Then & Now site ,Bob,.there was a book out a couple of years ago by Alan Hustek (?) called Montreal, Then & Now,.same idea ,some of the same pics too....I got it from a local library,
This set on Fllickr is great with it's built in slide show....nice find Bob,.Thanks for the heads-up
