THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment, you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome.
Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

Testing
This is my first message that I am posting so it is only a test.
I didn't know we were going to have a test today................hahahahahah I haven't had to use that line for decades........Ay Caramba ......hahahaha HF&RV
Testing to see if this message is added and also how do I start a new message? This will take some time getting used to, but any way we can stay in touch makes it all worth it!
Hi All...from Diane, Verdun "girl" from 3rd Ave 1944-61. This is my first blog attempt and don't know what I'm doing! However, I came across the Verdun Connections site and was amazed at how many names I recognised and I remember so many more! Lazures of course, Marilyn Gourley, Margaret Whitton, Billy Rodgers,Gail Page, Denny & Liane Sowrey,David Wattie, Butchie Royston,Bobby Mansfield, Sandra Crawley ...and they're just 3rd ave friends and neighbours! Prince George restaurant, "The Pav", dances at Dompolski Hall in the Pointe...Many, many happy times in Verdun and summers in Rawdon. Wonderful teen memories. Hope this site manages to survive with the changeover. I just discovered VC two days ago and was blown away by the deep connection people retain about Verdun, no matter where they live these days...Very Special Place!
Glad you found us, I hope we survive too, whether it's this venue or a better one,.who knows ,but for now We will give it a good shot.....Thanks for posting.......have fun & remember verdun
Hi Les, How do I post my "letter" as a separate blog? I tried to join up VC but couldn't seem to be able to register. Any help would be greatly appreciated...Diane
NEW TO THIS...HELP APPRECIATED! Hi from Diane...please note that I meant to post a comment of my own, but being new to this, I made it a reply to "TESTING" from Guy. If you're interested, please have a look and see if their are any old friends among the names I listed. I have many more up my sleeve and find this a great idea to interact with old Verdunites. PS Thanks for the welcome Les

Testing once more after joining on. Did anyone else use "neighbour" as group selection? I'm hoping that I used the correct choice.
Take care everyone,
Clarolecac
I'm using Clarolecac instead of Clarole01, in case your are wondering...
