Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.
Here is an area that Verdunites will remember, Verdun street between Willibrord and 1st ave. The name of the school is the Lévis Sauvé Elementary french school situated where the Willibrord school was. Facing the city hall is the Salon Mortuaire Dallaire, next is the Metro station and next is the Legion. I took these photos in 2005. And of course the City Hall. Guy

Great to see City Hall. The "gang" and I frequent the "Monument". Great times! We owned it. Plus alot of skating at the park. That was probably back in the mid 60's. Where is everyone?
