Bannantyne School Photo 1946
This is a 1946 Photo of a Bannantyne school class and I am wondering if any VC member knows any of these girls. I know Grace Kennell as she lived next to us on Galt in front of the school. Of course this is 62 years ago but you never know.
Guy I do not recall any of the girls but the 60+ year old picture did spark nostalgic feelings of my introduction to education at Bannantyne Elementary School. In 1946 I was in the first grade. My gosh! Bill
Happy Mothers' Day to all you Mothers evrywhere! Claudia and Gagnell (we pronounced it Gaynell) They were the McCulloughs that lived in the 400 block of 1st Avenue in Verdun, during the '40's and '50's! We had some good times flirting with those two. Their brother Roger kept most young boys at bay, often threatening them with mayhem and bruises! I attended Bannantyne school for 7th grade, leaving in June of '47 and entering VHS in the fall of '47! Nothing wrong with my memory, YET! sez Victah
