Hi Arbutus You are bringing back "souvenirs" for me. Pic # 5 shows Peel / Ste. Catherine and a Laura Secord store. My mom worked at that store when she was young (I think it was that location). When I heard this as a child, I thought it must be the best job in the world. She could eat all the chocolats she wanted. I just couldn't understand when she told me that you get tired of eating them after a while. Many thanks BobB
Hi Arbutus,.I like those Montreal pics,...it's certainly an interesting combination of photo's ,........I was wondering if they were all from the same site?,..because many I have not seen before,....and many I have had on my computer for a few years,......but some are completely knew to me,.and I wondered if perhaps they were added to an old site,..or if there is a site that I haven't come across yet?.......Any information would be great,...I'd like to have a cruise through it...........Thanks for posting them,.....I have now added those new ones to my collection as well........ Incidentally have you seen the sunken boat,yet,....it went down in the Gorge between the Gallopng Goose Trestle Bridge,........and the Bay St ,bridge,.......you can get a good vantage of it from the Jutland complex (near the South Bay restaurant side ) basically in that new comples that you enter from Jutland (end of Finlayson really),....and Gorge Rd,.........or you can see it from a little closer if you go into the 'Railway Yards' complex off Tyee Rd,....immediately to your right when you cross over the Bay St bridge......... Thanks Again for those pics hf&rv
