I graduated from VHS in 1965. Would like to know information on Neil Watt (lived on same street(?) as St. Thomas Moore church ,between Bannyntne and Beurling; also Bobby Bindon who lived in Crawford Park and Morris Smith who was living in London, Ont. last.
For those who knew him, Dave Livingston ( great guy) passed away about six months ago.
I enjoy this group immensely and check it out daily. Thank you

Hi Jim, Sorry to hearabout Dave. Too young. Haven't heard anything about the others. Long time since I chatted with you ,,,,how you doing? Mike
Hi Chris and thanks for looking into info on Bobby Bindon. His dad was an electrician who owned his own business in Crawford Park. Bobby was a great athlete who played most sports. I played football with him for the Black & Gold in Crawford ,and VHS and Leo's Boys in the Point. I also went to Olympic track try outs at the park next to Champlain College. We often played hooky from classes at VHS to go play handball at YMCA uptown and have our girlfriends write up absence notes for the teachers. Thanks again. Jim
Hi Mike (Stark), Good to hear from you again. I'm doing well down here in Connecticut. I was up to Calgary about two weeks ago visiting my son. Went up to Baniff Springs hotel for their unbelieveable brunch. It was grand to be in Canada again. Cheers, Jim
Hi Jim I remember going to some of those football games! Here are a couple of links I found about Bob Bindon. Havn't seen him in years - Sir Winston Churchill Pub to be exact in the early 80's but seems he's still involved with football. I remember Bobby Binden as I also lived in Crawford Park on Clemenceau. No idea where he is now. I graduated in 63 though so do not know the others. Carol Hale
Did anyone have to go to summer school at West Hill High School in NDG? I had to go during the month of July in the summers of 58 & 59. It was nice to meet people from other Montreal High schools but summer school was nasty. It was a long ride on the 102 bus and it would really put a dent in your summer.
Hi Fresco750, OMG!!!! Yes, yes, I do remember. I had to go to WHHS for summer school for the school year 58-59 also. What a pain in the butt, it was only for one subject - History. The only saving grace was that I didn't have to wear a uniform (tunic and white blouse), so it seemed a little less like a classroom. Thanks for reminding me of the 47-year suppressed memory, lol. Cheers, Linda
