I wrote to the current occupants of the old Elmhurst Dairy building about the "Laughing Cows". Here is the response I got. I don't think this mystery will ever get resolved. Dear Ms.Puttick,

They told me a couple of years ago that they were about to put them back up, I wasn't convinced and of course they never have.
