I was wondering what happened to her.......I think she was on a couple of posts and then disappeared again .busy time of year maybe? kids? school?.........oh well i'm sure she'll be back............let's keep this site going, it was really quiet this past weekend.....and where's Sharon?(Virginia Sharon) maybe preparing the property for the posssibility of hurricane Isabel, which should come ashore just a bit south of her and travel on a swath that may even reach our mid-west from what I hear
Here I am !!! Right you are Les, been extremely busy fighting with the school board, who wont let my 2 daughters go to the new high school just opened in Verdun. What a ride that has been, got a story done in the Gazette and everything...but bottom line, they are still out in LCCHS, but our transportation is being paid by the school board, so i kinda half won, lol. Besides that, I am in my last year at Vanier studying veterinary science, so ya, I'm pretty busy, but I still love this site. I've just been reading some of the stuff that Sharon wrote about today's Verdun.....I'll comment on that another time......don't worry, it would take a lot more than Les to scare me away.....
Speaking of hurricanes.... Hurricane Isabel is building up to be quite a handfull! In 1991 we were hit here (in Boston) by Hurricane Bob. Everywhere we looked, there were Hydro Quebec & Bell Canada trucks! If we get hit this time, could one of you please see that these trucks are loaded up with Smoked Meat & Spruce Beer..and Smarties for the kids.... and be sure to give them MY address! Alan
Alan Archie, An international rescue team will be dispatched as soon as we get the word,we would send one of our labrador sea king helicopters ,but we can't take the chance of losing all that smoked meat in one shot.......haven't you got used to Spam yet Alan?....hahahah and miller lite
