Access to my site

Les

A friend who is a non-member is unable to see my site. Can a non-member have access to the list of member so that he can see my site ? Is there another way to have access by a non-member ? I cannot check with my computer as I get automatically connected to my account.

I think anyone who is a member of Multiply can see your site, and not neccessarily a member of Verdun Connections,,,,,,,,that's why we have to tell some who sign up for Multiply to also then join the group of their choice,(in our case Verdun Connections) Hope that helps somewhat. hf&rv

Guy I am prsently signed out of the group & I cannot see the members list, but i can see the photo's & the blog & the links.and I can 'reply' to this thread,.So seeing the members list can only be done by either joining Multiply
or joining both Multiply then Verdun Connections......... hope this helps.............................HF&RV

Guy I just tried signing out, and then checking out this site,.you cannot see the members list ,but they can see our photo's & see our blog, & see our links, but they cannot respond or make comments unless they are a member of at least Multiply or of course both Multiply & Verdun Connections

Am I to understand that a non-member cannot see the members list therefore cannot see my own site and photos unless they are a member ?

Yes Guy I beleive they may have to be a member of Multiply, but I'm not certain of that yet, as I've seen some visitors to this site, whose profile doesn't exist, when clicking on it,so either they were never members or they were members of Multiply that then quit?
I tried earlier to post a reply to this thread, while I was officially signed out.So I could see everything but the members list, but after I typed in a msg. then clicked on 'reply' to this thread ,it brought me to the Multipl 'sign up' page ..I then just clicked out of the whole thing ,so as not to sign up again of course. but whether the msg. would have been posted properly ,I don't really know. Experiment my friend ,or ask your friend to sign up to Multiply, without joining here, & see what happens. Good Luck HF&RV

Hello Guy,
Using this link I was able to view your site on multiply without being logged in.

Les,
It seems that gabbybob has found the solution to have access to our personal site even if someone is not a member by using our identification number as shown above. I have tried it and it works. Some friends have successfully viewed my photos so I sugggest you try it yourself and spread the word around. This is practicle for those who want to see the site and then decide if they want to join.

Hello Guy , I did think that by clicking on someones ID: name this would bring you to their personal site......and apparently that is the way it works,..... I also read some of the support stuff here on Multiply & it doea explain that these things are possible...... It's a slow learning process, but everyone who wants to will learn it,I'm sure. Can't really spread the word on every feature,( that is what Multiply does itself) .We can only try to help whoever asks a specific question,.Just like we did on the old site,Help when & where We can when asked...... It is a good thought though.

Gabbybob,
I have discovered that your suggestion only works if I am logged in to my sight. Check it out and confirrm.

Gabbybob,
This only works for those already logged into this site so non-members are unable to contact the site.
