Hi Linda, thanks for posting VHS Class of 1962, it brought back a lot of memories, but isn't that what this web site is all about. I had left VHS by this time but had been in the same classes as some of these people. I looked up your picture and remember seeing you around Verdun High even though I didn't know you. When I look at these pictures I can't help wondering where did all these people go and what are they doing now. Do you keep in touch with any of them? Every once in a while I run into some one in Toronto that I went to high school with or grew up in Verdun, so I guess it really is a small world. Thank you again Linda.   Bob Reynard

foxe61, Bob   I moved away from Quebec to Ottawa then to Vancouver Island, but it seems no that no matter where I roam I bump into someone, who knows someone, who knows me or vice versa.  I have lost touch with my classmates unfortunately.  On the other hand, I hear updates and news through the grapevine.   It sure is nice to see that at least somebody has gone through the grad pictures I posted.  I was wondering if they were even the sort of stuff I should post.  I guess as long as one doesn't get negative comments, then all's acceptable.   Cheers.

Hi Linda, I just looked through all you grad photos albums, which were very interesting. I was particularly looking for but did not see any Hodgsons (Ethel, Robert, Sidney, Samuel), or Pierceys (Allan, Eric, Brian). My Sister Dianne Piercey graduated in 1965 and I saw her picture in the yearbook at the SGHV in Verdun when I went there last year to visit Guy.      Ralph....aka M.P.U. , or as my ''old friend'' Ralph Lockwood used to say ''Hplar'' (Ralph spelled backwards).

MPU, The VHS Annuals (59-62) are the 4 years I attended highschool, but wouldn't it be great if people who attended other years could post the grad pics from their annuals.  I have dragged those books through pillar and post for the last 44 years and although they're in rough shape (guess it wasn't the best bookmaker who made them) I still have occassion to search through them.   Doesn't anyone else have "Annuals" they could post? Would be nice (hint).   Cheers.

If you go into "links", I have scanned and posted all the grad pictures from 73, 74, 75 and 76 on class websites. Some even have more recent pictures posted with them. Check them out http://www.geocities.com/mputtick2/index.html , http://www.geocities.com/verdun_once/ , http://www.geocities.com/tmckiernon/index.html , http://www.geocities.com/mag_mck/index.html .  I also have annuals from 1970 - 1972. One day I will get to them.

Thanks MaggieMcK,  found a picture of Gail Larman, who I used to babysit, along with her brother Ross.  Couldn't find a pic of him, but sent a copy of Gail's pic to my aunt.  She'll really appreciate it!  My aunt, who just had her 85th birthday, just loves the computer and boy does she ever know how to use it.  Here's her motto:   "IT'S NOT HOW OLD WE ARE, BUT HOW WE ARE OLD" and I sure do wish I'm just like her when I'm 85!   Cheers.

Have you invited your aunt to join Verdun Connections?

Hello MaggieMcK   I clicked on the first website and low and behold there were many people that I knew and went to school with. Some of them must have failed for I graduared in 72 and these people were from Grad 73 including my sister Heather Gibbs. HFand RV Wendyjo
