More Montreal Movie Theaters (Remember Those Saturday Mornings)

Remember the feeling of excitement ,when we were kids, the minute you walked in to the theatre & felt the 'cool' air & the smell of the popcorn, and as you burst through the doors,to the theatre section, you got the warning from the usher "No Running" & with that we proceeded to gallop towards the 'best seat' in the house, which of course is the one you got........lol .....and so a Saturday had begun with the adventure of whatever was on the screen.Of course Our theater of choice was generally the Savoy....where all week long you would read the poster advertising the upcoming Saturday film........those were the days.

Wasn't it beautiful how buildings were so ornate houses even underground bathrooms and now everything is flat and dull. Miss it.

No problem Suzanne, when you are on your own personal Multiply site, just look on the righthand side of the screen, you will see a few choices you can make, click on'customise my site' then you will see the word 'Edit' pop up on all the different windows boxes on the site, select the 'edit' choice on your facebox, then just add from your own computer ,the photo you want to represent you......then at the top of the page after you made your choice,I believe you click 'done' & that should do it...Good Luck & just ask if you have any problems,we will help you figure it out.
The site offers a lot of features, but you just have to play with them until you get what you want, You can stores photos , videos, have your own blog happening too......
Good Luck & nice to see you participating, there is a lot of things to read here on the blog which archives everything from way back, of course we;'ve got pictures & videos etc etc ..... Cheers ! HF&RV - Les
ps: I posted a msg. like this one in your guestbook on your site.....:)

I think it was the Savoy that we went to on Saturdays for matinees. It was 40 cents to get in and we didn't have to be adults. Teenagers from Outerspace was one I remember.
This movie theatre wasn't too far from the joke store.
