BOXING DAY SHOPPING
Just wondering if any of you were brave enough to go out today to the malls or St. Catherine St. to do some shopping. If you did what kind of bargains did you get?
I bought myself a 24 inch monitor at Best Buy today and avoided yesterday rush. Specs: Size 24 inch, ACL Flat screen. Make Westinghouse List price $600.00 Less discount $270.00 Net $330.00 The reception is unbelievable compared to my old thick 17 inch screen. Much easier on my eyesight. Guy c 17 inch screen.
The former Eatons downtown in Calgary now Sears is closing and Hold Renfrew will be moving in. They had clearances and if you used Sears card 50% off already reduced price - I picked up 2 pairs of dress ladies shoes very nice ones I might add for $15 and $17 a pair Original price $90 each and also a zippered very fancy black with gold evening cardigan 40% off and another very dressy blouse and camisole on clearance and further clearance 50% - yesterday got 3 pairs of dress pants and another glitzy blouse for $76 including tax. Went to Childrens Place store and everything was additional 40% off picked up $140 worth of kids dress togs for $69 next years Christmas presents.
