Verdun Visit
I'll be visiting Montreal on the week of December 15th. and shall take my digital camera. If you have any special Verdun requests, please let them be know and I'll try to accommodate.
Ya that would be incredible Gord! It maybe selfish on my part to ask for a photo of 457 Second Avenue. How about shot or two of Nun's island from the river bank. Bannantyne School, Willibrord park, Wellington Street. Aquaduct. Have a great time. Take care, Bill Cooper
Wow! you have been gone forever, Bill! Bannantyne School was torn down in the 70's and replaced by condominiums! I wonder if those old places have since been replaced? I understand that most or all of the old "manses" have disappeared as well. If not, it would sure be nice to see a picture of one of those. How about a shot of Wellington Street?
Gord Thanks so much for the memories. I went to VHS but lived on Valiquette right behind Verdun Catholic. I think my house might be on the left in the picture. Lynn Ganter VHS 61-64
Lynn, if you're looking for a recent picture of your "old" house on Valiquette Ave., let me know the address...I still live on Valiquette, been on the street 40 years! Will gladly walk up the street & snap a couple of digital pics... John

A photo or two of the St. Lawrence river would be a pleasure to view.
