High School Year Books

I tried searching for high school year books on eBay.com, and found
nothing on both their US and Canadian sites. Maybe I am not doing a
correct search, or no one wishes to part with their treasured Y.Bs.
If anyone would like to sell their Verdun High Y.B. or loan it to me
I'll make copies), I would be very happy. I need the years 1953 through
1957.
Also if you could scan your copy and post it here or email me direct
that would be good too. cooperw001@hawaii.rr.com.
Have a most excellent Christmas.

High School Year Books. Yes. This is what many of us are hoping for. Do
you have more mom19451? On behalf of the V.C. members included in the
picture (not me unfortunately), many thanks for this one.
I attended VHS from 53 to 57. I wasn't much of a student. I flunked
the eight and dropped out in the tenth. However I played football,
basketball and swam on the VHS swim team, so my teenage mug was
photographed a few times for the year books. My teachers included. Mr.
Mulligan (Algebra), Mr. Smith (Geometry). I remembered them because
they treated me alright. The rest I have forgotten, so it would be nice
to see the teachers photos at least. Enough from me.

Hi B.C.   Check out the pics.  There are 2 teaching staff pics. They were taken during the 1958-59 school year.  Hope you enjoy. Linda

I recognized several faces including Mr. Mulligan, Mr. Smith, Mr.
Ironsides, Mr. Duncan, and Mr. Holloway. I had Mr. Duncan for french
class one year. I attributed my inability to learn french because he
taught in a Scottish accent, but the truth was I was more interested in
sports and girls. I believe if french was necessary to play football,
hockey and date girls, then most of us 'English' Verdunites would have
picked up the language at an early age. Are students still required to
pass french to graduate?
Thanks for the photographic memories.

Hi Dave. I'm not sure which year it was. Between 1954 and 1957 for
sure. Look in the year books, if you have access to one, and I think
you'll see me somewhere.
Sorry I cannot be more of a help to you.
