Dancing on the Boardwalk

In front of the Douclas Hospital, there is a dance floor where you can dance for free every evening, weather permitting, situated where the City of
Verdun had their greenhouse. The dance floor is of a covered 5500 sf rubber coated cement floor. All kinds of dancing are practiced, in line, country, salsa, tango, square dancing and swing. As much as 400 people attend on saturdays.  Sounds like a lot of fun.

the fence was falling from old age, rusting aprox 1985, they took it down,  the quebec goverment, didn't have the funds to replace?? at this time, there is no more land to build in verdun, the douglas hospital grounds is worth a fortune. its just a question of time the quebec goverment will sell the land.
