LaRonde Season Starts,.....Summer.Fun

MONTREAL - The season for stomach-churning, upside-down twisting and turning in Montreal arrived Saturday when Six-Flags owned, amusement park La Ronde opened its doors.

To mark the official launch and to "show solidarity with Haiti," La Ronde invited a dozen or so recently-adopted Haitian children to the opening, according to a press release.

The amusement park also debuts a new thrill Saturday with Ednör L'attaque, a suspending looping rollercoaster, located near the Lac des Dauphins.
