TV
Just watched "RON JAMES" an hour of laughter...what a funny guy. I have seen every TV show he has been on.......anyone out there enjoy his Talent????
HI Saw the show too. Have seen him twice live...and bought one of his CD'S.After the show he signs them in the lobby of where he is playing..Down to earth to talk to and one of the funniest guys around...Like the way he describes a scene..Tim Horton's comes to mind....Go on his web site and check out his schedule..missed him this year in Kitchener but if he plays Guelph can see him there. Lad
Cookie. Bill sent that you tube on him. That was the first time I even heard of him. What a killer. Now that is what you call funny!!!!!! With a capital PH!!!!!!! Thanks Cookie. Thanks Bill.
We watched him last night too. I was laughing so much I was in tears half the time. He's not only funny, he's really bright and politically minded (as opposed to "politically correct"). His version of his mum talking with the terrorists and figuring out something's wrong is just hilarious. "Who's your father?" she asks. The story of him as a kid in the Eaton's tent trailer with his family is vintage Ron James. "Don't touch the side of the tent or it will leak" says his father. Well, we know what's coming next, don't we??? And that goofy look he gets on his face, too priceless. It's always a treat to see him. Pat
Hey Cookie I was actually there for the taping & surrounded by Cape Bretoners. Absolutely hilarious, especially imitating his Mum's interogation of terrorists. His warm-up (before the taping) was great too (a few expletives blurted out). My wife worked for CBC a few years ago & was fortunate to land 2 tickets.
Earl, it must have been hilarious to actually be at the taping..lucky for you that your spouse works for CBC..Ron James looks very short to me on PBS, how about in person? cookie

Cookie He is short & like a "Tazmanian-Devil" on stage. He was running all over the stage with his "Physical" humour.
