Ahh....the good old days of transit. I have very faint memories of trams / streetcars during their last days in Montreal. I have a soft spot for trains. So this one resonates with me. A few cities in North America still have light rail transit. Toronto, Hamilton, I think, San Diego has surface light rail which is totally automated....no engineer. A little off topic.....San Diego has an impressive train museum. But it is pretty much exclusively, surface heavy rail. But if you’re a train freak and in San Diego, that museum is definitely worth a visit.
But I digress. This definitely brings back good memories for us train freaks.
