Transportation in the 19th Century
This is the way our ancesters travelled in the 19th century
One looks like a royal carriage and another like a San Francisco trolley car! The old saying...Surrey with a fringe on top, does that have anything to do with the old carriages? I've never known what that meant....Diane

Now people pay a small fotune to ride those things in places like Montreal nd New York City!!!! We have come a long way!!!!
