Looking for an old address
I am tracing my Grandparents 6 different homes in Verdun. I have photos of all of them. I just can't seem to find one address, 678 Verdun Ave..
Did the street numbering ever change? It is from 1924.
Lovell Directory (1950) describes Verdun Avenue as starting at Gibbons Ave. Check these old maps, it looks like a park and maybe an expressway took out some of Verdun Avenue. http://www.imtl.org/montreal/carte_montreal.php you might have to copy and paste.

I don't think there is a 678 Verdun Avenue at this time.. What were their names???
Their name was Thomas Hill. I got the address from Lovell's directory.
I LIved at 686 wonder if they were in same block but above me...? Pretty sure of it..we were there in the 50's.
They were there in the '20's. Where was your address on Verdun? What was the cross street?
