Random Shots from Montreal/Verdun
Many of these if not all have been around for years,I did post a lot of them 20 years ago usually from online sources. Many sites have since posted similar photos and marking them as their own collections, that doesn't mean they own the photos .It means they have collected them and also share online, usually watermaked or something.I strive to give credit where possible,a lot may have public domain or actual archive stamps already on them. So these I have saved over the years, and hope you will enjoy seeing them again.Cheers ! Have Fun and Remember Verdun

nice to see the old cement downs we called it as kids I think it was just called woodland concert stage I remember seeing the mayor or someone speaking here, the old stadium pictures are nice too thanks for putting these images up here and letting us have a nostalgia moment
ReplyDeleteI do recall hearing that name too Cement Downs .I think it was called that because of the scraped knees and hard falls when kids used the cement area in front of the bandstand to play games on. Those old benches in the photo just say Verdun of that era. Thanks for surfing by Anon. Cheers !
