If You Went to a Concert in Montreal......chances are this guy was the Promoter DKD dead at 82

Who doesn't remember the name Donald K. Donald, (Donald K. Tarelton). a Montreal character for sure, all the stations in the day carried his ads naming a band name then followed by brought to you by, or Presented by Donald K Donald Productions. Every radio station of the day had the ads, CFOX, CKGM, CFCF, CHOM-FM .etc etc R.I.P.: Canadian Music Industry Legend Donald K. Tarlton Passes Away at Age 82 A Canadian music industry legend, Montreal concert promoter, record label head and record producer Donald K. Tarlton (a.k.a. Donald K. yes I remember hearing that name all the time, he seemed to be involved with most concerts coming to the Forum or the various venues around Montreal posters everywhere radio ads too i dont remember if there was tv ads but im sure there was. he did a lot for promoting the local montreal bands to.back when radio stations had colorful dj s and all were trying for market share 82 does not seem old to me now but it seems a respectable age but as always family and freinds are the ones who feel the loss most.and 82 may not have been enough for them
