Very Familiar Store and Dep Signs We Grew Up With
I have these signs indelibly marked in my mind, remember walking around Verdun and of course any where in Montreal in certain years, We would see It shoe polish signs, or KiK Cola, plus Black Cat, these were very distinctive signs that just stick out to me, So here are a few pics sent to me recently which I thought I would share.
and of course the old Laura Secord stores always the same frontage, long before a McD's thought they invented continuity in signage etc. Laura Secord always reminds me of Easter and the big chocolate eggs with the yellow yolks pictured on the box (expensive at the time ,but you knew you were getting a treat) but man were they sweet,
Hope you got a kick out of these old reminders from the past.

I remember all of these signs.there was also cigarette signs every where too beer signs soft drink signs like coke pepsi orange crush
Glad you got kick out of the pictures there Anonymous I think everyone has their own memory recall when seeing older photos of where we grew up. There were so many signs and places we just took for granted and appreciate a little more now.
