Just a reminder.......... Poppy Season coming up......if you Care to Remember
For those of you who care or at least Remember, the Legio will start it Poppy Campaign Oct31st.
Even ifyou don't choose to wear a poppy, maybe you would consider a small donation,They do help a lot of people and every little bit will help.
I choose to wear a poppy out of respect, and I usually lose 4 or 5 of them each year but I consider it a small price to pay to support a system that ensured a sense of Freedom for us All.
That is something that is very much at risk these days with what is going on in the world.
So if you are so inclined to help then please support the poppy campaign
Lets Keep this symbol of Remembrance Alive ......It would still stand as a reminder maybe to those wanna be dictators who prosper off of our systems but strive to limit our personal Freedoms that were Paid for by a generation with the lives of their youth.and are still being protected by many young men and women who choose to serve in our armed forces to this day.
Allow me to say Thank You and Yes I Will Remember Them on Nov11th.
The following is an excerpt from a Legion Post I saw this morning which prompted me to share here with you.

The Legion's 2025 National Poppy Campaign is coming up!
The Royal Canadian Legion’s National Poppy Campaign is set to launch in a week, with updated and returning initiatives. The National Poppy Campaign officially begins on Friday, October 31.
“We are so grateful to the many donors each year, whose generosity allows us to serve our Veteran community, including through gratitude for our Fallen,” says Berkley Lawrence, Dominion President. “To that end, we are always looking at improving access to Poppies and updating Remembrance resources.”
