Familiar Old Sign Verdun Restaurant also an old House of Tom ad ( another rest in Verdun)
I know we posted a shot similar to this one many years ago ,same sign just a different angle. However this one just sparks memories.Nice to see it asgain (sent to me via an oldies Montreal site.......thanks for that) The 2nd photo is a sight I remember ,winter walking along Verdun Av, this is now New Verdun Restaurant which also had a restaurant at Gordon & Wellington STreet ,which later moved to the middle of the block on Wellinto across from Norman's Patats , it too ws called New Verdun Restauaran

The winter shot looking down Verdun Av just screams wintertime Verdun. The skies became gave a cold looking almost desolate feel to the streets. The old restaurant sign lit up like that said come on in it is warm.
