Just for Laughs Festival is broke (and That's No Joke)
Well after running since 1983 it seems the festival oraganizers are filing for protetion from bankruptcy............tooo bad because Montreal was very proud of this annual get together. Montrealers will no doubt miss this event. A free outdoor deal to celebrate.
Just for Laughs cancels comedy festival, seeks creditor protection
The company said it plans to continue operations “in a scaled-down format” as it restructures and that it hopes the festival will return in 2025\
We wish theorganizers well,in trying to recover and perhaps keep this event going.
