remember all that stuff well. eatons christmas village train ride with a gift for every kid. seeing santa arrive and climb on to the eatons overhang and wave to all us kids
searching christmas in verdun an it brought me here. i forgot about this group but i remember it from longago i am surprised and happy to see it still here you have a lot of old memories which seem to go wayback thank you for being here
Hi Anonymous lol, glad you stumbled across us. Hope enjoy the stories and some of the photographs that managed to make it here successfully in the migration. Not all of the pics made it,but there should still be quite a few from days gone by. You can search by date or year, or by topic too.

i just left a message on the other story about ckvl and now seeing these old black and white pictures all about eatons and the toyvillage with santa parade just great nostalgia
Yes I guess Christmas in Montreal or for us Verdun kids,was defined by when Eaton's Santa Claus Parade came to town, Also riding the train in Eaton's was almost a right of passage. Glad you liked this story too.
