Woodhall Dancing I have seen a few different photos of the marquis and signs that have been on that CKVL building,but I don't think I have seen this one. Good to see. I suppose that this old building is gone now. Probably condos now
ReplyDeletegood pictures seeing the french school in the background over on galt they had a hockey rink in the schoolyard in the winter. and right next to the schoolyard was the city of verdun city yards

Thanks for surfing by Annonymous, you are absolutely right about the French School being on Galt. and yes it did have a rink in the yard. I lived on Wellington where Greenberg's ended up,but originally there was a store called Mount Royal Furniture and later became the Better Bargain Store . I used to use that rink because I could wear my skates and go down through my shed and walk about 100 feet over and go into the schoolyard over the snowbanks and skate on their rink for hours. CKVL huge tower was right there on the corner of the lane. Normans Patate Frites backdoor was also right beside me.
