Remember Winter Like This....Verdun in January 1977
Winter in Montreal,in the 1970's the two following pics (from a news source) depict a lone taxi sailing along a Montreal street, remember if you had enough do-re-mi to actually take a cab, then this was a welcome sight indeed. Jumping into a really warm taxi....now the other photo from January 1977 on Wellington Street in Verdun also prompts the memory banks to a time when you just jumped right in to help a motorist that was getting stuck in the snow.
