The Autostade
Just a few random photos I've come across from years ago. I guess I saved these when doing searches for our old VC site.?
However here are some of the pics from the old Autostade. Some photos may appear in smaller format, just increase the size with your wheel mouse or zoomin in.
Just old memories I guess,

I sure wish I had asome photos from the all day 'pop'concert that had multiple groups playing all day. It was billed at the time as "the longest running pop festival ever" Don't forget this was prior to Monterey,Woodstock, and any other venues to come.
We saw a lot of groups that day,not the least of was 'The Who" we sat on the trunk lid of the Who's Limo as it drove to the exit across the autostades field, I suppose a big deal in those days for us as kids. Imagine this was at the beginning of the British Invasion.
Radio celebs ( DJ's really) from CFOX Dean Hagopian was one of the MC's of the day.I think also CKGM had someone there too,a shared MC affair. Anyway those are distant memories these days, but we had fun. Cheers ! Les
Hi there, I am a writer based in Montreal. I had a couple questions about one of your posts which details the history of Petite-Patrie. Is there anyway you could post your email or phone number so we could get in touch?
Thanks for surfing by Melanie, I see both your emails but in neither is your contact info, I don't know what help I might be but I can see what I can do.
If you want to reply contact me again in an email here, and I won't post your email info, but at least I can try to answer some of your questions.
Cheers ! LesF again thanks for surfing by.
