Verdun A great Vid on Youtube walking around Verdun
These young people are pretty cool,and the young guy from Winnipeg does a very nice job,recording video while walking around Verdun.

yorkies2006 AWARDED D.F.M. FO. FRANK D. MAYOU, 22-year- old son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mayou, of 5427 York street, who is the only Montrealer among 19 Canadian airmen recently awarded the Distinguished Flying Medal, according to an R.C.A.F. report from overseas. Five other Canadian fliers were awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross. FO. Mayou was born in Montreal in December, 1920, and was educated at Connaught School and Verdun High School. He was employed for a while with the Golden Gate Manufacturing Co. before enlisting in the R.C.A.F. in June, 1941, and trained in Toronto, Guelph, and Mont Joli Wireless School, where he graduated. He went overseas in June, 1942, and has seen action on the continent. One brother, Pte. William Mayou, was reported killed in Newfound land some time ago and another. Petty Officer Loye Mayou, is in the Canadian Navy.
