THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment, you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome.
Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.

A belated Happy New Year to all. But hey, it’s still January.
Watching some snow fall here in Toronto and remembering Verdun. I now have a niece, born and raised in Toronto, who is living in Verdun. A small world.
Hi! I really enjoyed the various posts. My parents both grew up in Pointe St. Charles and later several of my mother's sisters married and lived in Verdun (on Bannantyne and Argyll). My father and his three brothers paddled for the Grand Trunk Boating Club for a decade or more and I have many cups and photos from the period 1925-1936. Now approaching 80 myself I would like to pass on some of this material where it would be appreciated. If there is any interest I would love to hear from you. Thanks! GordE
