MONTREAL — An argument that escalated to a knife fight sent one Verdun man to hospital Sunday night.
The action started at 9 p.m. in a home on Gordon St. with an argument between a man in his 20s and a man in his 40s. The younger man was stabbed in the abdomen and he fled the home and managed to call 911. Police found him close to a park on Willibrord St. and medics took him to the hospital. After hearing what had happened, the police went to the home on Gordon and arrested the older man, who was also treated for injuries to his hand.
