Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.
Just a bunch of stuff in one of my albums ,we've sure accumulated a lot of things over the years..........hope it prompts some good memories for you...I posted this Pierette sign because I think these were the first convience stores we ever had ( although a mom & pop dep on each corner is far more convienent, I think)

Remember you can 'pause' or 'adjust' the speed of the slide show faster slower ,and you can select the 'full screen' option to see the pictures in a larger scene. HF&RV
Anyone recall those horrible fires in Lasalle back in the 60's ,they named the streets after all the people who suffered from the fires (explosion) Shevchenko ,etc....

Hi Sandra - Hope all is well with you and your family. We’re having a real heat wave here. Humid July weather. I remember that explosion it was not far from where Heather was living at the time. I didn't know about the naming of the streets.......Pauline
