Part II of Montreal Roads, Places & Different Spots ( a Few Verdun Pics too)..cont'd
More Montreal area photos from many different era's but a lot from the 40's,50's, 60's,& 70's etc .Some older but a lot of Montreal is somewhat 'timeless' in it's appearance,which I think is a lot of Montreal / Verdun 's charm. Buildings all of us can or should recognize regardless of what timeframe we remember best,.it's what seems to tie us all together. Although I suppose all things must change,that is not always a good thing,when you consider all the newer style buildings ,they just don't have the same character as the rest of the island's building's do...(IMHO).... I kind of like this old shot,with that strange looking MTC Tram ,and the Burgundy Cadillac along side it,which in those days would have been a real head turner,.Wow look at that Cadillac (reminds me of the Stray Cats Song by the same name.) and last but not least Lokk at that Cool looking old truck with Steinberg's logo on the front.
