Fifty Years ago today ,old Jacques Plante decided to save his face ,and wore a mask:
..as it turns out it was a very wise move ,that would change 'the face' of Goalies forever........... ps: a side note, Jacques was not the first to wear a mask,that honour goes to Clint Benedict back in the 30's actually,but why let the truth interefere with a good story...........hahahahahah

A Classsic commercial ,recreating the night Plante was whacked in the melon by a chunk of frozen rubber.splitting his smouche open like ripe pumpkin.........(had to get that Halloween referance in there).............hahahahahha
