I am tracing my Grandparents 6 different homes in Verdun. I have photos of all of them. I just can't seem to find one address, 678 Verdun Ave..
Did the street numbering ever change? It is from 1924.
Any help appreciated.

Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.
I don't think there is a 678 Verdun Avenue at this time.. What were their names???

ReplyDeleteI LIved at 686 wonder if they were in same block but above me...? Pretty sure of it..we were there in the 50's.
ReplyDeleteThey were there in the '20's. Where was your address on Verdun? What was the cross street?
ReplyDeleteLovell Directory (1950) describes Verdun Avenue as starting at Gibbons Ave. Check these old maps, it looks like a park and maybe an expressway took out some of Verdun Avenue.
