September 19, 1949 - October 8, 2011 Gary slipped beyond the horizon of this life at 5:50pm on Saturday, October 8, 2011, a mere two weeks after being hospitalized following complications related to cancer. Gary will be lovingly remembered and missed by his family: daughters Shawna and Stephanie (Bernier-Jude), his ex, Wendy (Bernier), as well as the extended Bernier clan, the Gruenefelds, Trevor Camp and dear friends. In keeping with Gary's wishes, there will be no funeral service, but a celebration of his life will take place in Whistler, his designated resting place for his ashes. In honor of Gary's love for all living creatures, donations in his name can be made to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)-Canada, online or at 1-800-267-2632.

1929-2011
Passed away In Pointe Claire on October 8, 2011. Beloved daughter of the late Robert and May McGlashan (nee Runte) and dear sister of Robert Gerald McGlashan and the late Patricia Johnston. Also survived by nephew Greg McGlashan and nieces Lynn and Ann McGlashan. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Cedar Park United Church, 204 Lakeview Avenue, Pointe Claire.
