  1. Thanks. Great video and audio on the CN Tower of Power. I have been to the top of The CN Tower a couple of times. One time we could see the lights of Buffalo and Rochester across Lake Ontario. I wonder if people on the other side of Lake Ontario will be able to see the light display on the CN Tower at night?

  2. Seems to me the tower was in the very funny film, 'Canadian Bacon' with John Candy. It was produced by Michael Moore I just discovered.

  3. The Towere does have an incredible view,........when the Smog doesn't obscure everything on the horizon,.......years ago it seemed to be fairly clear ,but these days ,particulaly when it's extremely hot & hummid,it's sometimes hard to dind a real good clear day / night:but when you do ,I agree it's fantastic: http://www.cntower.ca/portal/GetPage.aspx?at=848#The%20Tower   the link is from the CNTower website,..and has many offerings ,.trips,.meals etc etc ,.................   I posted some pictures of the Tower during it's consruction ,and the final antenna mast being lifted into place,by a huge Sikorsky Helicopter, I'll try to find these pics ,.and post them again:                             Have fun & remember Verdun

  4. Remember when Dar Robinson,....jumped off the CNTower ,doing a Free Fall using his invention called a decender,.........basically a cable that allowed him to free fall ,then gradually slow him to a stop,.....must have taken some serious calculations to achieve that: not to mention (kaoonas) (what's the spelling Bill ,.your our resident Hawaian.........................   ....sorry for the size of the picture,............                               HF&RV

  6. I rode the elevator to the top and I felt I could see Japan. I could not walk over the glass see-through floor up there. Very weird.S.A.

  7. Another neat building is the Skydome,....right there with the roof open,. I've watched the Blue jAys play in there,...and you really get a feeling of just How Big that Skydome building is,.when you look around and the roof is open,.....and you realise your drenched in sunshine,....and yet your 'inside' a building..............Amazing pretty cool too!!!!   Someone took this shot obviously from the observation deck of the CNTower, neat shot,.lucky to have caught it while the roof was open n the Skydome...                                                                                                                  HF&RV

  8. It is a weird sensation,.and quite funny to watch how Apprehensive people are when they go to walk on it......................Fun to do though,....and the revolving restaurant is quite neat as well: I kinda like those new 'L.E.D.'s that they are using now,....gives it a real focal point to the Skyline...............................                                                                          HF&RV
