Circus School

Last summer I took a cooks tour around Verdun, and came across a
rather large building just off the boardwalk. I think the sign
outside said circus school, but I could be wrong.

That an interesting site NaggieMck,....this place has been there since 1988,....or at least the company has been in existence since '88 I had never heard of it before,......seems like a large place as well,. Kinda funny,.that it's brought to our attention from a Verdun visiting from Hawaii,.......and then the link posted from a Sask. member........We are all over the place...........hahahahaha    Thanks for the efforts                                                                                                                         hf&rv

  5. That building must be a total magnet for Verdun's kids. I'm grateful
the school wasn't there during my childhood; I'd be retired from the
circus by now, and more than likely with a bad back.

Last summer I ate steamers at 'La Belle Provence' on 1st and
Wellington. I inhaled them both in a matter of seconds. Good eat'n.
On the way back to the B&B on Willibrord, I stopped of at Tim Hortons
on Willibrord and Wellington for a little desert and a large black
    coffee. Oh ya!

  6. I think I miswrote in my journal as to the address of 'La Belle
Provence' and as result I posted 1st and Wellington, but it may have
been on 3rd or 4th. No one corrected me so I'm a tad confused.

  7. Second Avenue, the La Belle Province is either at the corner of first or second. I have sampled their product a ''few'' times. Third avenue corner is still Grovers. One thing that you did state incorrectly was Tim Hortons being on the corner of  Willibrord. This is actually a Dunkin Donuts. The Tim is on Church near Lasalle (what was an A&W in the sixties). One thing Verdun has no shortage of is fine eateries, or places where you can just pig out.........................m.p.u.
