  3. Re:Hill Brothers. They were an amazing family. They
lived at 1090 Woodland. The house is still there. There were two other brothers
named Kenny and Norman. The Father was in radio communications and relayed
messages overseas from his powerful radio and antenna on Woodland
    Avenue.
In memory of such people St.Athanasius Church on
Wellington will have a special Armistice memorial service on Sunday Nov.13th.
All are welcome.Come and honour the year of the Veteran. 3067 Wellington Street
facing Maxi. LaSalle Metro. 11am Sunday 13th. Refreshments afterward and war
songs sing along. Ed Brown 768 4198

  4. Hi Ed,

The Hill's are my cousins. Their mother and my grandmother
were sisters. I haven't had contact for many years, in fact the last one I
was in contact with was Kenny. He had remarried and was living in London,
Ontario when he passed away about 15 years ago and the last time I saw Norman, I
was visiting Montreal and he delivered pizza's to where I was visiting.
That was probably 20 years ago. It is nice to see that the others are still
around and seem to be doing quite well. Next trip to Montreal, I'll try to catch
up to Harold or Jimmy. Probably close to 30 years since I have seen them! Where
    does the time go???

    Best Regards,

    Alan

  7. Hi Guy,

If you are able to find that picture and post it, I would appreciate it. I
have learned a bit more about that side of my family as a result of the article
in last weeks paper. Just when I thought I knew everything!

    Thanks Again,

    Alan
