THANKS for stopping by, I do my best to acknowledge when someone leaves a comment,you do not have to be a member here & everyone is welcome. Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.
Hi Steve , do the kids still come out to the curb, or I suppose there to busy,on the x-box/computer......etc etc.......besides at a C-note for a pr/ of running shoes,I guess the parents don't want them out there...........ahahahahah Do you get much call for filling peoples swimming pools......out here ,at one time the Fire Dept. would come and fill your pool for you...........but no more, water is getting expensive......Have Fun & Remember Verdun ......& thanks for Remembering the pic of the water truck..........

water from the hydrants . But we can still

I rememebr the water trucks went they went up the streets - we would run out after them during the summer to cool off - I watch kids today and they do not do the things we did to have fun - glad I grew up in the era that I did
ReplyDeleteHi Les_F, I received an email from an individual named Art.(I believe it is VerdunReader9) He asked me to contact you or Maggie because Verdun Connections tells him he is not a member. He tries to join again and he enters his email address as requested. When he clicks "submit" it tells him someone else is a member with this email address. Of course it is Art so he is caught in a circle.I checked his profile and all there is Art's age and surname Dawe. He doesn't know your email or Maggie's email to contact either of you. I checked the member's list and member contact but I cannot locate his name.Would you please help him out. Thanks a lot. Reggie Paine
