As everyone surely knows, the Pope passed away yesterday.
This pic was in the Montreal Gazette - the cross atop Mount Royal in Montreal was shrouded in purple last evening, mourning his passing....

ReplyDeleteSharon Starr, The cross on Mount Royal is always in purple when a Pope passes away. The last time was in 1978 when it happened twice Pope John and then Pope Jean Paul 1. I don't know if you knew this but my wife didn't and she is RC. Reggie Paine
