We had the visit at the SHGV yesterday of two representatives of the Centre D'Histoire de Montréal wich has a museum at Place Youville (Off McGill) and they took pictures of our archives of the old YMCA wich was on Gordon. Dr Norman Bethune held a clinic every Saturday in the 30s for needy people, free of charge and the photos wil be on display at the museum starting the 3rd of June. There will be a big inauguration with prominent people and including the Chinese delegate. Those outoftowners on a visit to Montreal may want to look it up as it is in the heart of old Montreal.

So many of us attended that YMCA....Swimming, ping pong, billiards, chess, and the dances, and halloween costumer parties. Those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end!!!! What a lucky bunch of bummers we were!!!
