Just ask if anyone on here knows anything about them. All of us on here are really willing to help. Thanks.   Winston (835 3rd Avenue, Verdun) Allison Vancouver, Washington

  9. Hi Linda, I remember U as a little kid.  I usta hang around with your brother Allan and Butch Gandey when we were very young.  I usta live at 1139 Woodland across from that burned out haunted house that is now apts.  I also remember when your family lived on Egan.  My Mom just left Woodland last year, but when I went to visit I'd see Allan all the time as well as your Mother and Mrs. Gandey (Cliffords mother).

  11. Hi all -   How can I access the 58 or 59 VHS yearbooks?  Are they online too?  What a concept!  Mine went missing in the move from Montreal to Calgary, as far as I can determine.  Years ago.  Miss it.

  14. Hi Guy - Sorry I wasn't more clear.  I am Carol Salmela, and graduated from VHS in 1959 (I think!).  We lived on Richard Avenue, half a block from the boardwalk.  Good times!  Am now in Vancouver, Land of Liquid Sunshine.  It is so neat to see Verdun again.  I went back about four years ago and walked from VHS to where I used to live.  Talk about flashbacks!  Are the yearbooks available online? Carol

  18. Wow! Some familiar faces on that page. I remember you Carol. You were friends with Karen Kemball and Sandra from Osbourne Ave. were you not? Did you know Hildegarde McKeefrey as well? I still keep in touch with K and H.   This brings back so many memories ... Mr. Grant (creeped me out) who loved to carry " the strap" around. Such a charmer!   Dale

  25. Hi Tina,   Just from around, I guess. I always thought you three were a pretty cool group. Anyway I am mainly, it seems, remembered as having hung around with Sterling for a few years and I was also a regular at The Monument. I was also a friend of your brother, Micky. I would have to dig around a bit for some old pictures, but I should have some somewhere. Feel free to email me.   Ken M

  26. Hey KenCM3 how are you.  It sure brings back old memories of the Monument when you mentioned Micky C. We had a lot of laughs sitting around there. I hope more people with pictures of the old croud show up. It was nice to see the ones that were posted of Jay, Sterling, Art, the pit. Just great to see. It would have been something to see today if one of us would have taken a camera along. Danny

  27. That would be great DannyB (how you doing Btw?) ,.... I can Remember having one of those Kodak Instamatics,......but I have no idea what ever happened to any photos taken with it,.later when I had a little better camera I took pictures up on the boardwalk of a whole gang of us,..but the camera as well as any film ,seems to have disappeared too.//////    I have a couple still around ,but it's more from very early 1970??  Would be nice to find someone with a whack of photo's from say 68 and on........  Sooner or later more will surface,.....but those ones posted a few weeks ago were certainly prompts for the old memory banks................                                                           hf&rv

  28. Hi Les, All is well here. I still try to read as many posts as possible. Being the only person able to do the day to day work in the house takes most of my time. And as you know teenage boys only want to play sports and be with their girlfriends so my son's is never here, I only get to here his voice when he needs something. We need more of those 60's pictures so as to help us remember them. I think most of us have very foggy but colorful memories of the 60's.    Take care, Danny

  29. Hi Les I'm sorry but I never got the email.... Maybe it went to my junk mail as it didn't recognize the sender maybe.... Do you think you can send it again?   Thanks man

  30. Yes Micky Cloutier was my brother and I sure do miss him... did you know Arlene? She apparently was looking for me. I emailed her but have not heard anything yet... I think she has lots of picures... do you have a picture of yourself?

  31. Hi Danny, do you remember me at all? I was Micky's sister Tina or maybe then known as Christianne....

  32. Hey Carolyn,   I'll pass along your message to Hildegarde. She lives in Belfast now. I may go visit her next spring now that the bullets have stopped flying! I'll give her the message about Carol Landry too.   Enjoy that warm weather in the Bahamas. It's very cold and very white in Ontario. Off to NZ for the winter where it's summer. Nice to finally find someone who knows someone I know. I love this site.   Dale Barwick Moffat Ave.
