Where and what year was the first McDonald's  Restaurant built in Montreal ?

  1. 1972 McDonald's opened its first restaurant in Montreal. For the next 18 months, on average, a new restaurant opened each month in the province of Qu챕bec. 1967 The first McDonald's restaurant outside the United States opened in Richmond, British Columbia.

Well,  thanks Gary and Winston....cummawn - ya gotta do better than that.....  1659...   I will tell you why I ask..My husband says the one that was on St Catherine and Atwater was  built around  Expo 67. I can never remember one there  way back when.   So if anyone   REALLY  knows  (winston !!!!). please let us all know. Laurie

  5. I think that it was around 1973 when McDonalds opened up near Atwater I was working in Westmount Square at the time.

  7. HI Winnie   Was the Mac's in LaSalle which was torn last year and rebuilt..one of the first ones? The one on Newman. The one on Atwater is now gone. Inside Alexis Nihon. That was number 4000 in the chain,that was the address too. I heard that the store was even shaped in the number 4000 if you looked from above.   Lad
