  3. All the gold in the world means diddly squat if you don't have your health, love, self respect, the respect of others, common sense and a sense of humour!!!   Then with all of that you can say your life is truly golden!   Dianne

  4. I seem to walk right into these things. I have been having trouble with my hair being so dry that it won't stay in place. One of the young students who lives in our apartments gave me some gel to rub into to it. I did. I now have green hair.   Ed

  9. Hi Judy...How's it going in Hampton? I hear a storm is heading this way tonight or tomorrow...typical for this time of year in the Maritimes!   Your Newfy friend is right...if you don't have your health the rest doesn't mean much!   Remember....Laugh and the whole world laughs with you...cry and you cry alone.....   or something like that!!!   Dianne

  15. Hi Di -
Yup, they've been predicting the 'gloom & doom' of this Super Storm since yesterday. I guess it's going from heavy snow, to ice pellets, to rain....oh joy!
You'll probably get quite a bit of it too.....I think we're usually on 'the same path' when it comes to these things. Anyway, it's not for much longer - we're into March and the days are longer - plus we'll be putting the clocks forward next weekend so it will be brighter later in the evenings. Btw, really enjoyed the "he said, she said" statements up above - have copied it to send it on to others....hope you don't mind. Have a great weekend!
    Question: What does LMAO mean??

  17. Hi Judy....   The storm hasn't started here yet......they say we'll be getting 10 to 15 cn of snow, rain, hail, and ice pellets...I guess they don't really know so they say we'll be getting everything...!!!!   Yeah!!!! Daylight savings time starts next weeknd!!!   I don't mind your passing on any jokes etc that i post. They are there for all to enjoy!!   LMAO......means 'laughing my ass off'......I wonder who dreams up such nonsense?   Have a nice weekend...hope you don't have to shovel too much snow!   Dianne

  18. Hey Dianne                   Do you think I should "Bug-Out" early from Burnside? My Boss is in Vancouver & has enough to worry about on the west coast!   Earl.

  19. Earl...I think you should 'bug out' early, after all you have to get home to make sure the home fires are burning and to batten down the hatches before the storm hits!   Dianne
