Anyone out there in Verdunland know of a cooking pots/pans which do
not leave a stain on a glass top stove. I've tried them all i think.
If it has an aluminum bottom it will leave a stain. Oxidation maybe?
I should have opted for gas.

ReplyDeleteBoth my daughters use stainless steel and their glass top stoves look beautiful.....thing is you must clean the top right away, don't leave any spills or splatters. Dianne
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tips. I suppose I have to accept an easily removable stain everytime I cook. If I cook on low heat it doesn't create a stain but anywhere between high medium and high I have a stain. I use a razor scrapper and a cream cleaner from Sears which works well. The below URL claims a flat bottomed cast iron skillet or Corning Ware can be use without this problem but try and find corningware. Also the instructions for the stove says not to use cast iron.
ReplyDeleteAnyway it's a beautiful Amana stove.
