Ps: This site is monitored but not actively posting on a regular basis. Mostly these are stories & some photos saved from a defunct site known as Verdun Connections which was on MSN Groups initially then on a social network called Multiply.
Ed, I did belong to Lasalle Branch 212 many years ago. Haven't kept up a membership. However my Dad belonged to Verdun Branch #4. In fact in February 1960 he had what turned out to be a fatal heart attack at the Legion. He was 54 st the time. I was 14 and my sister 12. It was a life altering event for our family. Branch #4 has been an intergal part of Verdun life for many decades. Gary Victoria, BC
