hi

I need help. Does anyone recognize this painting? We are trying to find out who painted this and who she is? It seems she is either from verdun or point st charles.
I am hoping that someone out there can help me.

  9. When we moved from Verdun to Dorval in 1956, we had an oil painting which was always above my mum and dad's bed. Was either taken while moving or lost in transit..

  13. Not sure what happened as we were moving..a neighbour took it,,lost on the highway,,or left on the lawn of the new home..its out there someplace..not with me tho.

  16. HMMMMMMm..lets see..was only 50 years ago..there was a lady and child in a 1800 or earlier setting..they were in a living room sorta..geee..had to really shake those cobwebs out..still to this day think was stolen..

  17. wow 50 years ago. i wish you luck in finding it. i would hate to lose something precious to me.     I saw heather today and she doesnt reckonize the artist but remembers the style in which he painted. she is sure she has seen the painting somewhere before and is going to help me try to find who it is. she is pretty sure it will come to her eventually. thanks again maggie for giving me her name. it is a start..

  20. I have gotten no news from her so I guess she has no idea who it is either. I really had my hopes up but no luck. I will keep posted if I find anything. thanks again for your help
